Care for a glass of WINE?

So much for 'updates every evening'.

I decided to try out the windows emulator WINE this weekend. After a bit of trouble finding the download (The only download page I could find at first was the beta releases of the program) I managed to get Steam up and running, albeit with rather dodgy text and lack of scrollbars. The next thing I plan to do is see if Team Fortress 2 will run.

Speaking of TF2, I have been testing a dedicated server for the game. With any luck I'll be able to get one of my friends to host it for me.

It works!

The fact that I can write this means that Ubuntu is working properly. I haven't had much time to do stuff yet, but I've decided to record all my activities in this blog every evening (hopefully) when I do new stuff.
